In Movie Makers, kids work together to create their very own video movie. Participants create an original script, and shoot the movie on digital video equipment.
Movie Makers' sessions are 12 or 16 weeks in length, and each class meets once a week. The primary instructor for every class is Movie Makers founder and director Melissa Lozoff.. Classes generally have an assistant as well.
At the end of a session, We have a premiere party where the group's movie is viewed in an actual auditorium on a full-sized movie screen! Friends and family are invited, and dress is formal!
And every participant gets his/her own copy of the movie on DVD to keep.
